A wintry gallery

It snowed for like five days straight here at The Ozark House.

I don’t mean we had a 120-hour blizzard.  But we had accumulating snow from Monday, Feb. 25 – Friday, March 1.

And as stir crazy as that has made us, it also provided the opportunity for some wonderful photo opportunities. I have essentially become a bird-watcher because of this storm.

They’re really amazing… birds are. How they survive the harshest winter conditions is beyond my understanding. So I felt good about throwing out a few handfuls of bird seed I found in the basement (probably 20 years old, but the birds still liked it!).
